A small town girl that's inspired by traveling the world

Logan MaCall Lyon

I’ve always been captivated by the feeling of new places — trying new foods, touching new oceans, outlining different mountain ranges, and learning new ways of life. Destinations inspire me. Experiencing new cultures, sights, and sounds fuels my creativity and challenges me to see the world — and your wedding day — with fresh eyes.

But even though I adore the adventure, as Dorothy said: there’s no place like home.

There’s nothing that grounds me more than turning onto the same blacktop road and passing the same rusty old mailbox I’ve seen every day for the past 24 years.

The beauty of the unfamiliar and the comfort of the familiar, is at the heart of my work. I bring a family-like presence to every wedding I photograph. Whether I’m in a centuries-old villa in Italy or a backyard on the East Coast, I show up with the same intention: to make you feel at home around me and my camera.

Photography isn’t just what I do, it’s how I move through the world. Even when I’m not “working,” I’m still chasing light, noticing quiet details, and documenting the people I love. It’s my way of holding on. My love language. My way of seeing.

Weddings are where I feel most free. Free to observe. Free to create. Free to capture life the way I believe it really is: emotional, textured, light-filled, imperfect, and deeply human.

I’m not just a wedding photographer.

I’m a photographer who finds freedom at weddings.

And no matter the destination, your gallery will always feel like home.
